ABOUT ME
I'm Bryan White: a Full-Stack Web Developer
I've always loved to create beautiful things. Whether storytelling with a cinematic or live-production video, photography, writing, live performance, theatrical tech direction, or even piloting a monorail, I've always been driven to make everything I do or create an unforgettable experience. I bring that same aspiration for excellence to the programming world.
The Tools I Use
I solve problems with full-stack web applications using HTML with CSS and BootStrap on the front end, with JavaScript, and C#, SQL, and ASP.NET. With my additional history working in photography, video production, marketing and SEO, as well as writing, I bring together everything you need for your web application.
The backbone of my programs, I use C# on a daily basis to build websites and mobile applications. You can see examples of my work implementing C# in my Projects section.
With the ability to back up and share work, as well as keeping track of all changes during development, there's rarely a good reason not to use GitHub.
With their proven design patterns and frameworks, ASP.NET Core Web and MVC fit the bill for most of the projects I build. Visit my Projects to see examples.
It's the language of the web and where much of the work happens. I use both vanilla JavaScript and many JS frameworks to make my projects come alive for the user.
Many shy away from the front end. I embrace it. That's why I implement HTML and CSS with Bootstrap so that the applications I build concentrate on creating an excellent user experience on a beautiful responsive website to match the back-end functionality.
The language of the database, SQL provides the database for all of the projects I create. I've chosen to work with PostgreSQL for their security and performance.

My Musings
